“This day is designed to celebrate healthy living, encourage kids and families to get excited about physical fun and activity, and most importantly, just play,” Roxanne Davis, Community Liaison for the South Montgomery County YMCA, said.  “Increasing physical activity is one way to get healthier, and doing it as a family is a great way to reconnect with one another. Healthy Kids Day provides hands on activities and games designed to educate kids and parents while entertaining them.”

Healthy Kids Day takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Creekside YMCA located at 6464 Creekside Forest Drive in The Woodlands. For more information, call 281-367-YMCA or visit www.ymcahouston.org/south-montgomery-county/
