Dosey Doe of The Woodlands, Texas, the Houston Live Music venue, is featuring several major musical acts this November including Don Schlitz, Roy Clark, Spyro Gyra, Restless Heart and Steve Wariner.

Dosey Doe is excited to be hosting some top name musicians as part of their fall line up in celebration of their fifth year as one of Houston’s premier live music venues.

The music and life of award-winning songwriter Don Schlitz will be celebrated on November 1st with Real Life Real Music Host Kyle Hutton. Schlitz’s first hit as a songwriter was Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler,” which became a crossover country hit upon its release in 1978. Schlitz has written numerous country songs including “Forever and Ever, Amen” by Randy Travis and “When you Say Nothing at All” by Keith Whitley. Both were co-written with Paul Overstreet.

On November 3rd, country music icon Roy Clark takes the stage at Dosey Doe. Clark hosted “Hee Haw” from 1969 to 1992, and is highly regarded as a guitarist and banjo player. He is also skilled in classical guitar and other instruments. A member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1987, Clark holds awards from the Academy of Country Music and the Grammys.

Jazz Fusion Band Spyro Gyra performs on November 5th. This extraordinary band was formed in the mid-70s. They’ve released over 25 albums, including their latest release entitled “A Foreign Affair,” considered by many to be one of their best albums. Their music combines jazz, R&B, funk, and pop, and is a staple on smooth jazz radio stations all over the country.

The entertainment continues on November 6th with Restless Heart. This legendary group has received four Grammy nominations and four Academy of Country Music nominations in their 25 years performing together.

On November 10th and 11th, Grammy Award Winner Steve Wariner, one of country music’s most versatile performers and writers, will entertain the audience. He has recorded 18 studio albums and has numerous #1 hits on the charts.
