When you attend an auction sometimes you must put your faith in the auctioneer. You hope that they will represent that desired object accurately and professionally.

These are not concerns for the many potential buyers that attend auctions at Webster’s Auction Palace in Houston.

“We have been in continuous operation since 1979,” said Janet Webster of Webster’s Auction Palace. “We have plenty of credibility because we have been around for nearly 32 years.”

The auction company sells pretty much anything one can think of. From cars and boats to houses and restaurants no item is too big or too small, as is seen with the jewelry, guns and coins that regularly go on the block.

Auctions are held every Sunday, but it is not usual for Webster’s Auction Palace to take their show on the road to list a house or other heavy item which cannot be moved easily or cannot be moved at all.

The items come to them from banks, storage companies, leasing companies and the U.S. Marshal. Additionally, the company has been selected as an auctioneer for Houston by the Southern District of Texas Bankruptcy Courts.
