Coventry Homes and Plantation Homes are giving home buyers plenty of reasons to shop, with an array of available homes and a $2,000 gift card promotion.

Through December 31, people buying a new home from Plantation Homes or Coventry Homes — both part of the McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc. (MHI) family of builders —will receive a $2,000 gift card to Best Buy. The “Simply the Best” incentive began November 1.

“This is one of our most popular promotions, letting buyers outfit their new homes with the latest audio-visual technology, upgrade their appliances or just buy some great holiday gifts,” said James Miller, MHI region president.

Coventry Homes builds throughout the Houston area, with homes priced from the $260,000s to more than $1 million in more than 20 planned developments. Plantation Homes also is active in more than 20 Houston-area communities, offering homes priced from the $130,000s to nearly $500,000. Both builders showcase home designs in Firethorne, a 1,400-acre development in Katy.

Coventry Homes has available homes on both 70- and 80-foot properties in Firethorne, where the builder offers nearly two dozen single- and two-story designs. Homes on 70-foot homesites are priced from the $410,000s and range from 3,027 to 4,608 square feet. Homes on larger 80-foot properties range from 3,585 to 4,894 square feet with base pricing in the $490,000s.

Plantation Homes also offers a wide selection in Firethorne, building on 50- and 60-foot homesites. Pricing begins in the $240,000s for homes on the smaller properties with designs ranging from 1,759 to 3,072 square feet. Plantation’s homes on 60-foot homesites are priced from the $300,000s and are from 2,384 to 3,688 square feet. Homes are underway in each neighborhood including several that are move-in ready.

Homes by both builders feature an array of customizable options and energy-efficient building standards.

Firethorne boasts plentiful amenities and easy access to Interstate 10.
