Chesmar Homes is celebrating the Grand Opening of two new, furnished model homes in the all-new community of Lakecrest Park.

Located in the heart of Katy, Lakecrest Park offers new home buyers outstanding value, with new homes priced from the $180s to the $280s, filled with generous features and amenities. The best part is that Lakecrest Park is located in Katy, one of the most sought-after areas in greater Houston.

Chesmar Homes is offering two collections of homes in Lakecrest Park: the Fortunata Collection and their new Motif Collection. Homes plans range from 1500 to more than 2500 square feet and include three one-story and five two-story plans, ranging from three to four bedrooms and two to three bathrooms.

This new community is developed by Sam Yager Incorporated, which also developed Lakecrest Forest and Lakecrest Village. Lakecrest Park is a brand new community, which is part of the same homeowners’ association that serves Lakecrest Forest and Lakecrest Village. Residents share use of the aquatic and recreation center, pool, playgrounds, parks and trails available in these neighborhoods.

The community offers quick and easy access to I-10, the Grand Parkway and Houston’s renowned Energy Corridor. Hundreds of major work centers are a short commute, and recent improvements to I-10 including the addition of a high-occupancy vehicle lane have dramatically improved travel times. Houston’s central business district, the Galleria and Greenway Plaza are also easily accessible.

Living in Lakecrest Park means living in Katy, where children attend outstanding Katy ISD schools. Katy residents take education seriously with the community and school district working hand-in-hand to provide the best educational opportunities for all KISD children. As a result, Katy ISD campuses have earned wide acclaim, including National Blue Ribbon Schools, Texas performance awards and commendations, and inclusion on lists of the state’s most outstanding schools prepared by both the Texas Business and Education Coalition (TBEC) and Texas Monthly magazine. Children living in Lakecrest Park attend Robert King Elementary, Katy Junior High and Katy High School.

Living in the city of Katy means access to many nearby parks and recreational facilities. Just down Franz Road from Lakecrest Park is Katy City Park. This newly renovated sports facility is home to two tournament sized baseball fields, two tournament sized softball fields, a state-of-the-art sports lighting system, soccer/flag football field, covered tri-court basketball pavilion, European hand ball courts, six ADA accessible tennis courts and many picnic tables for year round use. Katy City Park is also home to a recreational fitness ‘Boot Camp’ and Summer Camps.

A shopper’s paradise, Katy Mills Mall and LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch are just minutes from home in Lakecrest Park. Whether you are looking for national retailers or local boutiques, you will find it in these impressive shopping centers. Movie theatres, major hospitals, and restaurants — it’s all right here close to home in Lakecrest Park.
